Town of Coeymans

Coeymans Landing Park Project

The Town of Coeymans will use GIGP funds to make green infrastructure improvements to the Coeymans Landing Riverfront Park on the Hudson River. The installation of bioretention areas and stormwater street trees will help alleviate flooding at the Park while also providing a better environment for the community to gather. The project is defined by the Feasibility Study entitled ” Coeymans Landing Riverfront Park Feasibility Study dated September 9, 2021 prepared by MJ Engineering and Land Surveying.” The report was approved by the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation on October 4, 2021 and made eligible by the New York State Environmental Facilities Corporation (NYSEFC) on February 1, 2022.

Copies can also be viewed at Coeymans Town Hall 18 Russell Ave. Ravena NY 12143 in the Clerk’s office Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm.

**With ongoing infrastructure improvements being made to Coeymans Landing Riverfront Park, we would like to remind hamlet residents and boat launch users to be aware of workers and heavy equipment as demo removals and storm work begins on Monday, July 18th. Please be mindful of parking and be respectful of those around you.
