Coeymans PB/ZBA Board Members Needed
The Town of Coeymans is seeking community members who may be interested in becoming a member of the Planning Board/ Zoning Board of Appeals (PB/ZBA). The duties include: The administrative and regulatory roles of the planning board, including its review of site plans, special use permits, and subdivision plans are discussed, along with the planning board’s role in the municipal comprehensive plan. They must also consider, review and decide on appeals from decisions of officials charged with the administration and enforcement of the Coeymans Town Code and hear applications for special use permits.
The PB/ZBA meets twice a month on the second Monday and fourth Thursday. Training hours will be provided. Please submit a letter of interest to the Coeymans Town Supervisor at 18 Russell Ave Ravena, NY 12143 or by email to cmorrow@coeymans.org. please submit letters by September 8, 2023.
