NOTICE
ADOPTION OF LOCAL LAW 13 OF 2020
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town Board of the Town of Coeymans adopted Local Law 13 of 2020 at a regularly scheduled Town Board Meeting on November 23, 2020; said law was filed with the NYS Department of State on November 27, 2020.
The Intent of Local Law 13 of 2020 is to amend Chapter 80 – Clean Air to provide that no amount of hazardous or medical waste shall be processed within the Town of Coeymans, and that no amount of waste shall be considered a fuel source unless approved and permitted by the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYS DEC) and/or the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), so as to protect the residents of the Town of Coeymans.
